His research group focuses on legged robotics and the development of next\u2011generation physical AI. He is also co\u2011affiliated with the Robotics Innovation Center at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI\u2011RIC) in Bremen. He has received multiple best paper awards and has been recognized as a New Generation Star in Robotics Research at IROS 2024 and a Future Research Leader by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) in 2025.
