Head of Industrial Policy, Teknikf\u00f6retagen.<\/strong> Teknikf\u00f6retagen is the trade and employer organization for 4,500 technology companies in Sweden. Their mission is to support Swedish companies and strengthen their competitiveness in the international market.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the Electronics Fair 2025, a well-attended session on skills provision in the technology industry was held, a crucial issue for Sweden\u2019s competitiveness. Maria Nilsson, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, presented the government\u2019s STEM strategy and described how the lack of technical skills is currently one of the biggest growth barriers for companies. Maria Rosendahl from Teknikf\u00f6retagen and Maria Bernander from Volvo Cars shared their perspectives on the challenges and what is needed to meet future demands. The session concluded with an engaging panel discussion, led by Leila Khammari, exploring possible solutions and paths forward.<\/p>\n
