Elektronikmässan made a long-awaited comeback in Gothenburg on April 15–16, this time at Åby Arena. A total of 2,057 visitors attended over the two days of the event. 155 exhibitors showcased their products and services on site, with a strong focus on innovation, components, systems, and solutions for the future of electronics. The event’s lead generation tool produced more than 7,800 new contacts between exhibitors and visitors.
Engaging activities on site
One of the new features in Gothenburg was the Machine Area, which targeted visitors with an interest in automation and production technology. The Machine Area created a natural link between electronics, machinery, and smart industry, providing space for both live demos and hands-on discussions on efficiency improvements.
For the first time, Semiconductor 2026 was organized together with the fair’s partner, Svensk Elektronik. The conference attracted strong interest with relevant presentations on the development of the semiconductor industry, talent supply, and Europe’s role on the global stage. At the same time, an extensive stage program took place on the exhibition floor, featuring interactive sessions, panel discussions, and appearances by humanoid robots that engaged the audience. In collaboration with Phoenix Contact, Josefine Hölling was named Female Role Model of the Year in the electronics industry.
A long-awaited meeting place
“Being able to once again offer a meeting place for the electronics industry in Gothenburg feels both long-awaited and much needed. We are extremely pleased with this year’s level of engagement and look forward to upcoming Electronics Fairs,” says project manager Vincent Lind.
Elektronikmässan will return on April 14–15, 2027, at Kistamässan in Stockholm, and will then be back in Gothenburg in April 2028.
