Anton Frisk Kockum is a theoretical physicist working on quantum optics and quantum information, including circuit quantum electrodynamics, “giant atoms”, quantum tomography, compilation of quantum algorithms, and ultrastrong light-matter coupling. Anton is with the Wallenberg Centre for Quantum Technology (WACQT), at Chalmers University of Technology, where he now is an associate professor. Within WACQT, Anton leads the team that provides theory support for the core project of building a superconducting quantum computer.
