What challenges are your customers talking most about in 2026?
Above all, demand for MIL standards (e.g., MIL-STD-461G) continues to grow among customers in industry, automotive, automation, and the defense sector. Access to testing facilities—especially large test halls—is also a constant topic of discussion.
Are there any services or solutions you are highlighting at the Electronics Fair 2026?
Our Nordic Head of EMC, Petri Lehtinen, will be on-site and is highly recommended to meet for any questions related to EMC testing, particularly regarding military standards. During the fair, we will offer electrical safety testing and EMC testing at special exhibition rates.
For medical devices, the ASCA program facilitates our customers’ access to the U.S. market. We also hold Notified Body status for MDR and IVDR.
From your perspective, what are the key trends in the electronics industry right now?
As mentioned, cybersecurity requirements and military standards are clear key trends. Market access services—such as country-specific certifications (e.g., FCC)—are also on the rise.
How are global developments impacting your work in testing and certification?
New requirements such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), increasing demand for MIL standards, and the need for more advanced testing and documentation are all growing. Rapid technological development is also driving the need for faster and more flexible testing solutions.
Global events are tightening regulations, increasing cybersecurity and defense-related testing demands, challenging supply chains (e.g., China–U.S. competition and developments in the Middle East), and accelerating digitalization. For us, this results in a growing need for independent, proactive, and fast testing and certification services.
